A special train of 17 cars, all filled with emigrants, left Ogden last Sunday evening and is due here this evening. We learn there are 600 persons, young and old, on this train, the majority of whom are destined for California. — Silver State, March 30.

For nearly two years preceding the last election, the Times-Review earnestly advocated the calling of a convention for the purpose of framing a new State Constitution. The proposition was defeated because of the presidential election drawing attention away and because political managers manipulated printing of the tickets. — Times-Review.
