The 16th Annual PINNACLE Awards recognized top contractors in 2014, sponsored by the Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors. Winners were:

Specialty Contractor Over $500; Meeting The Challenges of a Difficult Job: RHP Mechanical Systems, Inc., for the Ardagh Metal Packaging, USA project.

Specialty Contractor Over $500,000; Meeting The Challenges of a Difficult Job: Granite Construction, for the LogistiCenter 395 project.

Building Construction Under $5 million; Meeting The Challenge of a Difficult Job: Clark & Sullivan Construction, for the remodel of Reno-Tahoe Airport Federal Inspection Services.

Building Construction Over $5 million; Meeting The Challenge of a Difficult Job: Core Construction Services of Nevada, Inc., for the demolition of University of Nevada, Reno’s Getchell Library and utility relocation.

Building Construction Over $5 million; Building Innovation: Q&D Construction for the Interstate 80 Carlin Tunnel project.

Building Construction Under $5 million; Contractors Innovation: Building Solutions, Inc., for the Mercury Mobile Transfer System.

General Engineering Construction Over $5 million; Meeting The Challenges of a Difficult Job: Granite Construction, for Mt. Rose Highway repavement and improvement project.

Also, a People Choice award was given; voted on by luncheon attendees:

Specialty Contractors Over $500,00; Meeting The Challenge of a Difficult Job: L.A. Perks Petroleum Specialists, Inc., for the demolition and rebuilding of the Bango Refinery.
