Horse riders, Kurt Nelson of Santa Cruz riding the Clear Creek trail on his mountain bike, enjoying the near 60 degree weather and a pair of hawks battling for a perch on a telephone pole off Jack’s Valley Road were some of the scenes in the Carson City area on Saturday.
