Carson City road report for Feb. 16-22: Downtown Carson Street closures begin today

The following information applies to the period of Feb. 16-22:

There will be road closures in downtown Carson City related to survey work. Detours will be signed; closures on Feb. 15, 18, and 22 are as follows:

Today — from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Carson and William streets and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Carson Street from William to Musser streets.

Wednesday, Feb. 18 — from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Third Street from Curry to Carson streets, including the intersection of Third and Curry streets; from 10 a.m. to noon at the intersection of Musser and Curry streets; from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Curry Street from Musser Street to Robinson Street; and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Robinson and Curry streets.

Sunday, Feb. 22 — from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Carson and Fifth streets; from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Carson Street from Fifth to Robinson streets; and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Carson and Robinson streets.

The intersection of Jerry Lane and Elaine Street will be closed the entire week. Jerry Lane will only be accessible from Ruth Street, but closed to through traffic from the west. Detours will be signed.

The sidewalk will be closed along the north side of Musser Street between Division and Minnesota streets and the east side of Minnesota Street between Musser and Proctor streets for the entire week.
