Along with its performance at the Carson City Community Center’s Bob Boldrick Theater on Wednesday, the United States Air Force Concert Band of Washington, D.C. will perform an additional concert at the Grand Sierra Resort. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. No tickets are needed for this event and the public is invited to just show up.
The Band, along with the Singing Sergeants, will perform at the Carson City concert. However, those tickets were distributed within the first three hours along with 80 standby tickets. The Singing Sergeants will not perform in Reno.
The Reno venue will allow those who were not able to obtain tickets to enjoy The Band while it’s in Northern Nevada attending the American Bandmasters Association National Convention.
In addition, the USAF Band of the Golden West will return to the Carson City Community Center for a Sunday concert at 3 p.m. June 28. Information on ticket availability will be forthcoming in early June.
