Rachel Hoy Holloway, a 2004 graduate of Dayton High School, is planning to marry Keith Allan Strand in Denver, Colo.
Paul and Margaret Holloway announced the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Hoy Holloway, to Keith Allan Strand, the son of Annette and Andy Strand of Seattle, Wash., and the stepson of Tim Groggel.
Holloway is a 2004 graduate of Dayton High School. She attended college at University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s in environmental studies with an emphasis on society and policy. She met Strand while attending college.
Strand graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School in 2004 and graduated with distinction in 2008 from University of Colorado at Boulder. His degree is in ecology/evolutionary biology with a minor in German.
The couple plans to marry on April 25 in Denver, Colo., where they currently live.
