The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who may have been a witness to a fatal motorcycle accident on Interstate 80 east of Sparks over the weekend.

The patrol identified the victim Monday as 60-year-old Milton Robertson of Winnemucca.

Troopers say Robertson was eastbound on his 2012 Harley Davidson alongside another motorcyclist when they approached the Painted Rock exit on I-80 west of Fernley about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The other cyclist, 46-year-old Mark Robertson, told the patrol both were attempting to change lanes when a black vehicle started to pass them in the right lane.

They tried to steer back but Milton Robertson lost control, struck a guardrail and was ejected.

The patrol wants to talk to the driver of the black vehicle.

Anyone with information should call NHP at 775-687-0400.
