Good Samaritans in the community will be out in Carson City working on community outreach projects.

Grace Works is an event that joins Kiwanis, 10 local churches, the Carson City Tigersharks swim team and the Carson High Fellowship of Christian Athletes to work on 31 different projects that will help improve the community. The event will be going on Saturday and Sunday.

This is the fifth year the event has taken place, and will include trail and park clean-up, maintaining the outdoor habitats at Fremont Elementary School, and packaging 10,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now. The meals will be going towards the people impacted by the Nepal earthquakes.

Anyone is free to join, just sign up at the event website www.graceworks-2015.eventbrite.com or contact Mark Frady at mark@ffcwired.org or at 775-721-9016.
