Grace Christian Academy held its annual Serve-a-Thon week May 4-8, when students served their community by helping local organizations.
On May 4, seventh and eighth grade classes along with several parent volunteers huffed and puffed their way up the Genoa Canyon Trail to rake, trim and clean the trail.
Second, third and fourth graders from Grace Christian Academy made more than 100 handmade Mother’s Day cards that were delivered to mothers at senior living homes in Carson Valley.
Grace Christian Academy’s seventh and eighth grade students sort and pack food for the Backpacks for Buddies program and Tahoe Community Food Pantry.
Grace Christian Academy in Minden is a Classical Christian School for kindergarten through eighth grades. It’s still enrolling for the 2015-2016 school year. For more information, call 775-782-7811.
