Carson Plaza, a senior living facility at 2120 E. Long St., joined in on the Red Nose Fundraiser, which benefits children’s charities all over the world, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Children’s Health Fund; Feeding America; LIFT; Charity: Water; GAVI Alliance; The Global Fund; Oxfam America; and Save the Children.
When red noses sold out nationwide, staff at Carson Plaza fashioned their own using pom-pom balls from Walmart and double-sided tape. The red noses were sold to residents for $1; all funds raised are going to children’s charities.
Carson Plaza is challenging all senior living communities to participate in the Red Nose Fundraiser. To find out more, go to RedNose.Org.
