Body found in Baily Pond identified as Carl Braziel

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has identified the body who was found in Baily Fishing Pond.

Carl Braziel, 46, has been identified as the man found floating in the pond southeast of the Carson City Fairgrounds on Sept. 23. There was no indication of foul play, officials said though the official cause of death has yet to be determined. The cause of death still is pending from the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office.
