Law enforcement officers gather Saturday at Reno Harley Davidson for the Bikes for Badges event, a charity ride held for fallen Carson City Deputy Sheriff Carl Howell, who was killed in the line of duty Aug. 15. More than 160 riders were expected to participate in the event in which all proceeds went to the Howell family.
