Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is northern Nevada’s only business named to Forbes’ 2016 list of America’s 250 Best Mid-Size Employers.

Just four Nevada mid-size employers made the list, and Atlantis, which was 133 on the list, was the only northern Nevada mid-size employer that Forbes recognized.

A Forbes midsize employer has 1,000 to 5,000 employees. The three Las Vegas employers are: The City of Las Vegas at number 78; the Golden Nugget at 109; and Treasure Island Resort & Casino at 197.

Companies earning a spot as one of America’s Best Mid-Size Employers were selected via a survey conducted by Forbes of more than 30,000 employees across 25 industries working for large or midsize firms.

“We have a fantastic group of team members who make coming to Atlantis a pleasure for both guests and co-workers alike,” said Cheraz Ecker, general manager. “Our continual mission at Atlantis is to nurture a company culture, which supports our 1,800-plus team members so they may provide unparalleled service for all of our guests. Our team members already know that Atlantis is a great place to be employed. We are pleased and honored now to receive Forbes’ public recognition confirming that fact.”

This recognition comes on the heels of Forbes Travel Guide’s designation of Atlantis as northern Nevada’s only Recommended property, deeming it the best in its destination. Forbes Travel Guide also recognized Spa Atlantis as northern Nevada’s first and only Forbes Four Star spa.

Atlantis also recently unveiled a total remodel of Toucan Charlie buffet.

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is consistently ranked the number one Reno resort on TripAdvisor and AAA Four Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide rated.
