Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for April 15. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:
Quik Stop Markets, 3006 N. Roop St., scored 100 points.
Capitol Shell, 1462 S. Carson St., scored 92 points. Employee drinks were found at the dish washing area without labeling, lids or straws. There was no certified food handler on site.
Peg’s Glorified Ham N Eggs, 3697 S. Carson St., scored 89 points. Employee drinks were being consumed in an undesignated area. Employee hand wash sinks were not easily accessible. Garbage storage container lids were open. Spilled grease was found on the asphalt near the waste grease receptacle.
MJ’s Sports Bar, 3679 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.
Jack in the Box, 3225 Retail Drive, scored 96 points. The ice scoop was not stored properly. Biofilm was found inside the ice machine. The outdoor grease receptacle and surrounding concrete were dirty with spilled grease.
Burger King, 3589 N. Carson St., scored 96 points. Garbage storage container lids were open. There was no certified food handler on site.
