Naomi Duerr, a Reno City councilmember, has received the 2016 Award of Honor from the Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NVASLA).
The award recognizes those who have made significant contributions
to the management, conservation, and preservation of environmental resources and/or public landscapes in Nevada. Duerr accepted the award at the Dec. 14, regular city council meeting and also presented at the NVASLA Pink Flamingo and Annual Awards Banquet in Las Vegas on Dec. 2.
