Contract Flooring & Interior Services, Inc., which specializes in a full range of commercial and residential carpet, resilient flooring, laminate, solid and engineered wood, ceramic tile, painting and wallcovering, has relocated to a new headquarters in greater Reno.

The new location at 55 Silicon Drive, in McCarran, includes seven offices and two separate warehouse areas and will house the entirety of Contract Flooring’s business operations as well as storage for all company vehicles.

“Since our old lease was set to renew, we determined that the purchase of an office/warehouse was financially advantageous for the company, as opposed to simply contributing to someone else’s bottom line,” Contract Flooring owner Rodlynn J. Casas said. “The company’s financial standing is much improved with the addition of this property asset.”

The property provides a lower fixed operating cost for the business and serves as a more convenient location for the majority of Contract Flooring’s employees, according to Casas.

Contract Flooring purchased the property with the assistance of an SBA loan secured through Nevada State Development Corporation, the state’s largest SBA 504 loan provider.

“Our mission is to stimulate Nevada’s economy while spurring the growth of small business throughout the state, and Contract Flooring’s recent move into a new headquarters is an excellent example of a thriving business enhancing its presence,” said Roger Kadz, business development officer for Nevada State Development Corporation. “We are proud to have secured the SBA loan for Contract Flooring and we are confident the company will enjoy continued success.”

Contract Flooring serves a 300-mile-wide geographic market in northern Nevada and northern California.
