Education achievements: Area students make dean’s list

The University of Montana Western in Dillon, Mont., named three area students — Rebecca Connet of Dayton; Madeline Hull-Taylor of Yerington and Alyssa Haugen of Fallon — to its fall 2015 Semester dean’s list.

To make the dean’s list, students must be enrolled full-time or for 12 semester credits and carry a minimum 3.33 grade-point average.

At Harding University in Searcy, Ariz., Carson City resident Bailey Griffin, a psychology major, was one of more than 1,300 students included on the university’s fall 2015 dean’s list.

Griffin and others on the list carried 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.
