The Division of Child and Family Services would like to recognize the various individuals and businesses that contributed to our 2015 Angel Tree Project for local children in foster care.
This project is extremely important because it helps to provide support to foster families during the holidays to make their foster children’s Christmas dreams come true. Because of the effort and support of individuals, businesses and agencies listed below, our children in foster care were able to experience the joy and happiness that every child should feel on Christmas morning.
A sincere debt of gratitude is owed to the following:
Nevada State Elks Association; Reno Rodeo Foundation; McDonald’s; Carson Tahoe Health; Ole Ole Restaurant & Grill, Gold Dust West Casino; Department of Health & Human Services, Director’s Office; Department of Motor Vehicles, Director’s Office; Harley-Davidson Financial Services; Casino Fandango; Sierra Financial Advisors, LLC; LifePoint Church of Minden; Bureau of Child, Family and Community Wellness; Seeliger Elementary School; Department of Public Safety, General Services Division; Nevada Division of Environmental Protection; Starbucks Coffee Company; Airport Road Church of Christ; Carson City Public Works Department; A Finer Image Salon; Dollar General; Becky Richard-Maley; Susan Palmer; Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; Pat Affeldt; Division of Health Care Financing and Policy; Caroline Modha; Cameron Vandenberg; Ron Wood Family Resource Center, Youth Advisory Board; Stefani Hogan.
There were many others that assisted with this project but were not named above. To every individual that donated their time, talent and resources to make this program successful, much is owed.
