This election season has been a source of great stress for a majority of people, with great concerns for the future of our country and our children, regardless of party affiliation, according to a survey conducted by the American Psychological Association (APA). It’s hard to escape the hostile relationship between the candidates giving rise to much anger and little hope amongst a majority of citizens and now we’re post-election with the results many are thankful for and others may be fearful and angry.
It’s important to recognize there are always positive effects that come from great turmoil, it’s all how you look at it. Since the conflict between the candidates has risen it has brought much more awareness and attention to issues in our country we simply can’t ignore no matter which side of the fence you may be on. This has given rise to many groups forming, empowering others for great positive change. If you’re passionate about something that needs to change follow Gandhi’s advice and “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Taoism, which is a philosophy rooted in ancient China 2,800 BCE, explains we don’t lead by being the leader, instead we lead from within as the people and it starts with us.
The late Dr. Masura Emoto did much research on human behavior and how thoughts not only affect ourselves, but each and everyone around us. The following is a brief explanation of his work and how you may use it going forward post-election to create positive change for yourself and the world.
Considering water is a life-source, covering 70 percent of planet earth’s surface and the human body is 70 percent water, it’s upsetting to realize most of the water we encounter daily is polluted, chemically altered, or otherwise unappealing for human consumption. So how does this water affect our bodies? Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto has rigorously researched this topic for the past 25 years. The results are nothing short of amazing and may change the way you live your life.
Dr. Emoto developed a process in which he would freeze drops of water and take photographs of individual water crystals that formed. He found like snowflakes, no two water crystals are the same; however, he also found there are messages in water.
Firstly Dr. Emoto discovered not all water forms beautiful crystals. He first tested tap water from around the world and found tap water doesn’t form water crystals. Stagnant or polluted water doesn’t form water crystals either, but rather forms unpleasant, deformed frozen structures. Rainwater, water from clean streams, rivers, springs, glaciers, and from holy places around the world form beautiful crystals. He then uncovered the human imprint upon water goes far beyond just pollution. Upon exposing water to positive frequencies, it forms beautiful, complex crystals when frozen, while water exposed to negative frequencies forms non-crystalline, amoebae-like formations.
Playing beautiful music in the presence of tap water would create beautiful frozen crystal formations while playing heavy metal in the presence of tap water had the opposite effect. The written word also has a major effect on water, when taping paper strips on bottles of tap water and then photographing the water he found words such as “Thank you” and “I love you” caused the tap water to form beautiful crystals whereas words like, “You make me sick” or “You are a fool” produced ugly, distorted crystals or no crystals at all. Dr. Emoto’s findings also revealed we can cause tap water to form beautiful frozen water crystals simply by praying for the water, by sending it loving thoughts and by blessing it.
Since each of us is made up of mostly water, we truly affect each other with our thoughts and words, just as we affect the water in our cities and homes. Every thought, action and emotion we experience every second of every day directly affects us along with everyone around us. If you’re having a bad day, think to yourself what positive frequencies can I expose myself to in order to start having an amazing and fulfilling day, then do it! Just like the saying goes, “you are what you eat” so does “you are what you think!”
Going forward post-election this is something to ponder for a more prosperous, grateful and happier life and how you may positively affect the world around you! Dr. Emoto reveals all this fascinating work in his book, “The Message from Water.”
