The Ridge Resorts

The Ridge Resorts invested more than $2 million to expand wedding and conference capabilities in the renovated 3,700-square-foot Castle Rock Event Space to complement the resort’s 300 guestrooms, amenities, on-site recreation, dining and spa services.

Miles Construction, based outside Carson City, served as general contractor.


Eldorado Resorts, Inc.

Eldorado Resorts, Inc. reported a third quarter net revenue of $241.6 million in the third quarter of 2016. It also reported an operating income of $28.1 million and and adjusted EBITDA of $49.7 million.

Tahoe Resources Inc.

Constantine Metal Resources Ltd. has entered into a property purchase agreement with Lake Shore Gold Corp., a wholly owned division of Reno-based Tahoe Resources Inc.

Tahoe Resources was also had a lawsuit filed against it, accused of negligence and battery in a lawsuit tied to violence at a silver mine it owns in Guatemala.

Gas Prices

Nevada’s fuel prices are holding steady and are predicted to decrease this month in most metro areas, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) weekly report revealed that west coast gasoline supplies are hitting record lows.

Nevada’s average price for regular gasoline, $2.53, is $0.02 up from a month ago. City posted the lowest price at $2.40, and Sparks has the highest average at $2.72. Elko recorded a price of $2.53.

Foreclosure Mediation Program

The State of Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program (FMP)announced the last date the FMP will accept recorded Notices of Default is Nov. 30. Also, the FMP will no longer accept mediation enrollments after Dec. 31.

The Nevada Legislature repealed the FMP ending the program. The Nevada Supreme Court issued an order in ADKT 0435 on Sept. 26, providing for the last date to accept mediation enrollments. Also that order determined all mediations must be completed by April 30, 2017.
