Carson City road report for Oct. 3-9

The following information applies to the period of Oct. 3-9:

Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts, refer to the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources are updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Lane closures with traffic controls are at the following locations due to utility/road work:

Robinson Street westbound lane, between Fall and Stewart streets, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Center Drive between Clearview Drive and Koontz Lane from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

U.S. 395 between Old Clear Creek Road and Snyder Avenue will have single lane closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday-Thursday.

U.S. 395 between Old Clear Creek Road and Snyder Avenue will have a single northbound lane closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

N. Edmunds Drive between Fairview Drive and Brown Street will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Tuesday.

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to utility/road work. Drivers are asked to follow detours:

The Panamint Road and Sherman Lane intersection will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Topsy Lane between Center Drive and U.S. 395 for all hours Monday-Sunday; local traffic only.

Bigelow Drive will be closed to through traffic at Snyder Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. all week.
