In an effort to get students moving for Nevada Moves Day, Fremont Elementary students and staff chose to walk to school Wednesday morning. The students met at the Roop Street Post Office or the 5th Street Chevron Gas Station to walk to school or at the Hells Bells Road Moffat Open Space to bike to school. Fremont was just one of many area schools participating in Nevada Moves Day.

Nevada Moves Day is a part of the Safe Routes to School program to encourage students to “walk, ride or roll” to school without the use of motor vehicle transportation.
