Captain Brian Humphrey is pinned by his fiancee Ali Banister after being promoted from lieutenant to captain Thursday afternoon.
Carson City Sheriff’s Office Lt. Brian Humphrey is promoted to the rank of captain by Sheriff Ken Furlong Thursday afternoon. Humphrey just recently graduated from the 10-week long National FBI Academy, which provided him the qualifications for captain. Dozens of family, friends and co-workers gathered in the Ormsby Room to congratulate Humphrey and he was pinned by his daughter and his fiancee.
