MMC Corp is excited to announce the acquisition of Building Control Services, a building automation and service provider located in Reno. With a strong reputation in Northern Nevada for its digital controls installations, service, and system optimization capabilities, Building Control Services brings additional technical expertise to the MMC Corp family of companies.
“We are extremely excited about bringing Building Control Services into the MMC Corp family. As a controls and building automation expert, their experience complements our commercial and mechanical construction portfolio, allowing us to offer even more services and expertise to our clients. We pride ourselves on fostering a great culture and employing the best in the business, and Building Control Services certainly exemplifies both of those important qualities. We are confident the Northern Nevada region will provide growth and opportunities for MMC Corp and Building Control Services,” said Tim Chadwick, President and CEO of MMC Corp in a press release.
Co-founders Tom Hulbert and Will Allen remain with the company and will serve in the same capacities as President and Vice President, respectively. “Our team is thrilled to join the MMC Corp family. From our first meeting, I could tell we had companies built on similar values — integrity, quality people, and a customer-first attitude. We’ve worked tirelessly to get Building Control Services to where it is today, and I know that by joining this organization, we can take it to the next level. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together and how we can offer our employees and our clients even more,” said Hulbert.
Building Control Services will continue to operate out of its office in Reno with selling shareholders Tom Hulbert and Will Allen continuing to lead the business. Their team will provide building and energy management systems and mechanical service to their clients throughout northern Nevada.
