A free training class is being offered Wednesday, October 26, at Fernley City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Boulevard, in Fernley, NV, to help architects, builders, and other construction profiles build energy efficient homes that are more comfortable and healthier for homeowners.
The workshop runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A light lunch is provided. The first 25 attendees to register will receive a free copy of the “Success With 2012 IECC for Nevada” guide (a$40 value) courtesy of NV Energy and Southwest Gas.
The course instructor is Mark Lera, President/CEO Distinctively Green Energy and Certified Professor for the Building Performance Institute. Mark has been a trainer for over 30 years. He has worked in the Energy Efficiency industry for 17 years and is a RESNET HERS Rater, Trainer, and Quality Control Inspector for RESNET.
The training is sponsored by Governor’s Office of Energy, NV Energy, Southwest Gas, the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project, and the Builders Association of Northern Nevada (BANN).
