Washoe County ranks 8th in a study done by SmartAsset of Nevada’s top 10 counties where residents are best prepared to retire on time. The county’s average savings at age 35 was $17,324. Carson City was ranked ninth with a average savings of $14,638 while Storey was ranked second with with a savings of $45,795.
