Ametherm, a manufacturer of current limiting thermistors for circuit protectors that is based in Carson City, has expanded its network of value-added representatives in the United States with the conclusion of a new agreement with Trendsetter Electronics. Effective immediately, Trendsetter is offering Ametherm’s entire lineup of inrush current limiters and NTC thermistors in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, Trendsetter has been a global distributor of passive, active, interconnect, and electromechanical electronic components for oil and gas equipment, instrumentation, and military and aerospace applications since 1995. For the past 12 years, the company has been carrying and providing technical support for select Ametherm inrush current limiting thermistors. As a representative, Trendsetter will now also act as an extension of Ametherm’s sales and marketing team and carry the company’s complete product offering.
Made in the U.S.A., Ametherm’s products are recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA International) for ensured safety and are REACH-compliant, and many are RoHS-2 certified (with Exemption 7a and 7(c)-1). The devices are optimized for a wide range of applications, including AC motors, power supplies, motor drives, audio amplifiers, battery chargers, air sensors, HVAC systems, high-speed computers, MRIs, and X-ray machines.
