On June 23, the Nevada State Contractors Board partnered with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office to conduct three undercover sting operations citing unlicensed contractors for alleged violations of contracting and/or advertising without a license. The stings were part of a national event coordinated by the National Association of State Contractor Licensing Agencies. NSCB joined nine states across the country in targeting individuals illegally advertising services that require a license on online bulletins, such as Craigslist, Angie’s List, and social media sites.
