The 2015 TC/USA Nationals, a national fastpitch-softball event, is running from July 14-17. More than 180 teams will be attending, with some of the top teams in the country featured in the 14, 16 and 18 Open divisions. According to the U.S. Club Rankings, 58 of the top 100 teams in the nation will be competing, including five of the top 10 and 31 of the top 50.
Twenty-two states and Canada are represented at the tournament The tournament will be spread throughout multiple area venues, while the majority of the games will be played at Golden Eagle Regional Park in Sparks.
On Friday, July 17, CBS Sports Network will televise both the 16 Open and 18 Open title games live to a national audience. The 16’s championship game is slated for 3 p.m., and the 18’s championship is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. and will be played at the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
On July 20-25, the Triple Crown 16U/18U World Series also arrives in the area, bringing in an additional 150 teams.
