The community is invited to the free Fall 2015 Extended Studies Open House, celebrating 125 years of serving Nevada’s continuing education needs at the University of Nevada, Reno. Come enjoy cake and refreshments, learn more about professional development short courses and certificates, academic credit courses and online degree programs, and activities for youth and senior learners offered by Extended Studies. Participants can also receive discounts for on-site registration of select courses, and enter to win a new iPad and other prizes.
The free event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 5:30-7 p.m., at the University’s Redfield Campus, 18600 Wedge Parkway, in the Nell J. Redfield Building in south Reno. Parking is free and the event is open to the community.
