The Silver Springs Airport will host a dedication for its recent capital improvements with Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison as well as state and local dignitaries present on Monday.
The airport increased the size of its taxiway and rehabilitated its runway. The improvements were made possible by a $700,000 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. The improvements are considered vital to the airport master plan and better equipped to serve the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.
