The Center for Unique Business Enterprises (The CUBE) is hosting the initial round of SBA’s InnovateHER business plan competition on Thursday, Nov. 19. Entrepreneurs will present to a panel of judges and these judges will have an opportunity to ask questions. The local winner will be entered into the national competition where 10 finalists will be chosen from around the United States to travel to Washington D.C. in March. These finalists will compete for cash prizes totaling $70,000 which is provided by Microsoft.
Entrepreneurs seeking to enter must have a product or service that impacts and empowers the lives of women and families. Written business plans are due to the CUBE prior to the live presentations, by Friday, Nov. 13. Time slots for presentations can be scheduled at www.cubeatmidtown.com/innovateher.
