Beverly Ausmus Ramsey, Ph.D.

Beverly Ausmus Ramsey, Ph.D. has been named executive director of Desert Research Institute’s Earth and Ecosystem Sciences Division.

Ramsey, who has more than 40 years experience in the environmental science and health industries, previously served as a vice president and principal analyst for Sonalysts, Inc. She also served in several capacities at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Ramsey currently serves as an adjunct professor at American Public University System in the STEM College, Environmental Sciences Programs. She has served as adjunct professor in the College of Health Studies, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Northern New Mexico, for several years.
