The Carson City Chamber of Commerce presents its “Soup’s On!” luncheon feature Kevin Ryan, executive director of the Nevada Humane Society, Wednesday, Feb. 25.
Ryan will discuss his organization’s plans to build a new shelter for homeless and abused animals.
The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gold Dust West in Carson City.
Tickets are $17 per person in advance and $20 if purchased after Monday, Feb. 23.
