Charles P. ‘Charlie’ Cockerill, Thoran Towler

Charles “Charlie” P. Cockerill and Thoran Towler have joined Allison MacKenzie Law Firm in Carson City.

Cockerill was named ‘of counsel’ by the law firm and act as lead in the expansion of the practice area in November of 2014. He has more than 20 years experience of practicing locally in labor and employment law. He is also an arbitrator for the Nevada District Court Alternative Dispute Resolution and is a State of Nevada Hearings Officer for state employee discipline and discharge appeals.

Towler was named as an associate with the firm. He previously served as general counsel for the Nevada Association of Realtors and acted as State of Nevada Labor Commissioner appointed by the Director of the Department of Business and Industry from 2011 to 2014. He began practicing law in 2006.

Towler earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law.
