Cherie Singer, PhD, has been appointed associate dean for admissions and student affairs at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Dr. Singer has been serving as the ASA dean in an interim role since January. She is also associate professor of pharmacology. She will remain an active member of the pharmacology department where she has worked since 1998.
Dr. Singer graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno as a Presidential Scholar with a bachelor’s of science degree in biology. She earned her doctorate in pharmacology at the University of Washington.
