City of Reno contracts

The Reno City Council unanimously approved a contract to Sierra Nevada Construction for the 2016 Sewer Rehabilitation Project Phase 1A in an amount not to exceed $4,753,007. The project includes the rehabilitation and/or replacement of approximately 6,200 feet of aging sanitary sewer pipe in several areas within the City of Reno.

The council also unanimously approved a consultant agreement for construction services with Farr West Engineering for the 2016 Sewer Rehabilitation Project in an amount not to exceed $831,230 from the Sewer Enterprise Fund. The services will include construction, management, inspection, testing, staking, permit compliance monitoring, and record drawings for the 2016 Sewer Rehabilitation Project’s Phases 1A and 1B.
