The Nevada State Contractors Board revoked the license of Mercury Steel & Placing Inc. of Sparks and suspended the license of Cheney Construction of Washoe Valley.
The board found that Mercury Steel failed to pay for materials and services and failed to establish financial responsibility.
Cheney Construction, the board said, failed to take appropriate corrective action and failed to establish financial responsibility. Its license is suspended until pays $30,500 in restitution and investigative costs.
