Dana Bennett has been appointed president of the Nevada Mining Association.
She replaces Tim Crowley, who resigned in August.
Bennett is the former regional director of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development and current owner of Bennett Historical Research Services. She also served as staff director for Nevada’s Legislative Committee on Public Lands a division of the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau and worked for Morrison Institute for Public Policy in Phoenix.
Bennett earned her doctorate degree in history from Arizona State University.
