Daniel B. Moore has been named vice president and general manager of Pershing Gold Corp. and will oversee reopening of the company’s Relief Canyon Mine operation in Pershing County.
Moore previously held management positions with Pegasus Gold Corp. at the Florida Canyon Mine, the Cortez Gold Mine, Round Mountain Gold Corp., Kinross Gold Corp., and Allied Nevada Gold Corporation.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from the Mackay School of Mines at the University of Nevada, Reno.
