Dr. Najam A. Awan

Dr. Najam A. Awan has joined Saint Mary’s Medical Group and will practice at the hospital’s new cardiology services location in Fallon.

Dr. Awan previously practiced cardiology at Cardiology Consultants of Napa in Napa, Calif. and Solano Cardiology in Fairfield, Calif. He also served as medical director at Sacramento Medical Research Center in Sacramento, Calif. He has done clinical research, professorships and lectureships at colleges such as the University of California, Davis and the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wis.

Dr. Awan completed medical school at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan and finished his residency training in cardiovascular medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y and the University of California School of Medicine in Davis, Calif.
