John Moran, whose three startups include Global Gateways Inc., has been named executive director and a member of the board of the Reno-based nonprofit Entrepreneurs’ Assembly.
Other officers of the organization will include Terry McAffee, chief financial officer of Sierra Sciences LLC, treasurer; and Barry Myers, whose experience includes work as the business manager and controller of television stations KAME and KRXI, as secretary and chief fiscal officer.
Named to the board of directors were
David Croasdell, the Charles and Ruth Hopping Professor of Entrepreneurship and Chair of the Information Systems department at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Diana Hoffman . the chief operating officer and president of Creo Mundi International Inc.
Rod Jorgensen, the director of counseling for the Nevada Small Business Development Center.
Dr. Marie Murgolo-Poore, dean of the division of business at Truckee Meadows Community College.
Mark Pingle, the Charles N. Mathewson Professor of Entrepreneurship and a professor of economics at UNR.
Also serving on the board are the co-founders of Entrepreneurs Assembly, Matt Westfield and Rod Hosilyk.
