Nevada Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve honored 27 Reno-Sparks businesses and business leaders at the organization’s annual awards banquet June 10 at the Tamarack Junction in Reno.
Businesses recognized at the banquet were: Charter Communications, Nevada State Bank, ESI Security Systems, IQ Technology Solutions, Renown Regional Medical Center, 1864 Tavern, EDAWN, El Dorado Resort Casino, Haws Corporation, Nevada National Guard Association, Reno Aces Baseball Club, and Tamarack Junction.
Individual business leaders awarded for their support of ESGR included: Valerie Cotta (EDAWN), Pam Duxberry (Nevada Builders Alliance), Roger Edwards (Sparks Outback Steakhouse), Eddie Floyd (America Matters Media), Kellie George (United Federal Credit Union), John Morrey (Morrey Distributing), Kevin Spiares (Koch Business Industries), Len Stevens (The Chamber), Nevada National Guard Brig. Gen. William Burks, Major Christy Hales and 1st Lt. Michael Colyer (both with the Nevada Army National Guard), Tammy Richardson, Bill Sexton and David Cantrell (affiliated with ESGR).
