Federal contracts workshop

A workshop to help northern Nevada businesses prepare to seek federal contractors is scheduled in Reno July 11.

The free workshop is sponsored by the Procurement Outreach Program of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development with participation from the U.S. Small Business Administration. It runs from 1-3 p.m. in the conference room of Building C of the Washoe County Government Center, 1001 E. Ninth St.

Participants will earn how to register on the federal System for Award Management and how the firm can prepare a Capabilities Statement that will get the attention of federal procurement officers.
