Adam Plain has joined the staff of Ferrari Public Affairs, a company that has offices in Reno and Carson City.
Plain previously was insurance regulation liaison for the Nevada Division of Insurance. He worked for the agency for nearly five years.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California-Davis and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Parker Stremmel, and Joelle Gutman have also been hired by the firm.
Stremmel previously served as the assistant director for Stremmel Gallery. He also worked for local and national news organizations including KRNV and KOLO in Reno as well as ESPN and was a legislative assistant for Ferrari Public Affairs in 2011.
Stremmel earned an MBA from the University of Denver.
Gutman has held positions with the Veteran’s Administration in Reno, PAWS in San Francisco and treatment centers in Reno. Her experience in healthcare includes work as a clinical social work therapist and case manager, resource coordinator and client support services manager.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from International University and a master’s degree in social work from the UNR.
