Gabriele Neumann, Rickey J. Martinez

Gabriele Neumann and Rickey J. Martinez have joined the staff in the Reno office of The Ferraro Group, a public relations and public affairs firm.

Neumann was hired as a public affairs coordinator.

She interned with Ferraro Group during the 77th Session of the Nevada Legislature. Neumann also worked at a boutique litigation firm in Ann Arbor, Mich., focusing primarily on post-divorce custody litigation.

She co-authored the article, “The Alien Claims Tort Act: A Primer,” which was published in the May 2012 issue of the Business Torts Journal of the American Bar Association.

Neumann earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. She served as an editor for the Law & Psychology Review and joined the legal fraternity, Phi Delta Phi at Alabama.

Martinez joins the firm as a public relations assistant account executive.

He has more than 10 years experience in management, working for companies such as Walgreens, The Squeeze In and Dollar Tree Stores Inc.

Martinez graduating with a bachelor of arts degree with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Nevada, Reno, Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism.
