Insurance companies merge

Altus Insurance Group, a Reno-basedprovider of property and casualty insurance coverage for businesses and individuals, has joined forces with Orgill/Singer Associates Inc., an independent insurance brokerage headquartered in Las Vegas.

Altus Insurance will continue to operate under the same name. Valerie Clark, the president of Altus, and Audrey Damonte, chief executive officer of Altus, will continue their involvement with the company. ​Launched in Reno five years ago, Altus provides commercial, professional, and personal liability insurance, as well as bonds, for businesses, professionals, nonprofit organizations and individuals.
