Jonathan Snyder has been named executive chef of The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe.
Snyder began his career working in the kitchen of his family’s restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. He also opened the Prime Steakhouse at The Bellagio in Las Vegas alongside French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Snyder worked for PURE Management Group’s restaurant division as its assistant corporate chef and a role in executive level on the design and development of Rare 120 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Snyder left Las Vegas for San Diego, where he worked as executive sous chef at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. He returned to Las Vegas to work with House of Blues Las Vegas as chef at the Foundation Room in Mandalay Bay.
Snyder graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.
