Krone expands in Reno
Krone North America, a company that distributes hay and forage equipment, is doubling the size of its Western Region Training and Support Center in Reno.
The company headquartered in Memphis says it’s completing a move to a 99,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility at 1190 Trademark Drive in South Meadows. The facility previously was located in a 50,000-square-foot facility on Aircenter Circle.
Brian Hutt, western region sales manager for Krone, said the company expects to increase the number of people it trains in the new, larger space.
SHRM councl honored
The Nevada State Society for Human Resource Management Council was one of 12 chapters to be recognized nationally for development of innovative initiatives.
The Nevada group won the Pinnacle Award from the Society of Human Resource Management for its work to support young HR professionals.
Dena Strotman of Employers in Reno is director of the Nevada State Council, and Cindy Davis of Strategic HR Partners in Reno is immediate past director.
SIR nominations open
The Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors is seeking nominations for its SIR Awards, which recognizes a Nevada resident who has made a outstanding contribution to the community.

TMCC honored
Truckee Meadows Community College earned top honors for programming among lifelong learning and continuing education providers by the Learning Resources Network.
TMC was selected from more than 140 applicants from across North America.
