Larry Rogers, Frank Buonomo

Larry Rogers and Frank Buonomo have joined the staff at the Reno corporate headquarters of EMPLOYERS, a small business worker compensation insurance company.

Rogers was named senior vice president and chief underwriting officer.

Rogers, who has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, previously served as west zone executive for the Tower Group Companies. He also worked for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, Reliance Insurance Company and ITT Hartford Insurance Group.

Rogers earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration and finance from San Francisco State University.

Buonomo was named vice president of IT infrastructure and operations.

Buonomo, who has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, previously worked at Aon Service Corp.

He earned an MBA in information systems and finance as well as a bachelor’s of science degree from Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
